Katie Elizabeth Ortmeier and Adam Eugene Christiansen were married Nov. 26, 2016, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in West Point. Father Steve Emanuel officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Randy and LuAnn Ortmeier of West Point. The groom is the son of Kevin and Julie Christiansen of Pender.
Grandmothers of the groom are Faye Christiansen and Marge Cadwallader.
The bride wore a lace fitted gown. Her bouquet of white roses were accented by the bride’s grandmother’s rosary and handkerchief.
The matron of honor was Lindsay Merwald and bridesmaids included Shelby Mueller, Jessica Heiser, Caitlyn Guenther, Taylor Westring, Whitney Wietfeld, Whitney Blessing and Ashley D’Lorenzo.
Bridal attendants were Sarah Werner, Ashley Hefner, and Kari Patefield.
The best man was Matthew Smith and groomsmen included Joe Guenther, Evan Schrieber, Chris Schrieber, Andy Dickes, Josh Beutler, Justin Cadwallader and Chris D’Lorenzo.
Ushers were Mike Merwald, Cody Kindschuh and Drew Minert.
Flower girl was Josie Mueller and ring bearer was Max Schrieber.
A reception and dance were held at the Nielsen Community Center.
The bride is employed by Cedars as an Assistant Program Manager of Clinton and Hartley Community Learning Centers, and the groom is a Probation Officer with the State of Nebraska.
Following a recent honeymoon to Jamaica, the couple will reside in Lincoln.
