The next phase in the Cuming County comprehensive plan update will involve more input from the citizens.
An open house will be held a week from tonight (Wednesday) at which time more information will be shared on what’s been accomplished to date. The focus of that meeting will be on the county’s land use plan.
The open house is Oct. 9, 6 p.m. at the Nielsen Community Center, West Point.
The draft of the comprehensive plan will be presented by RDg at 6:30, followed by a chance for the public to discuss the plan and make suggestions to be considered. RDg is the consulting firm hired by Cuming County’s Board of Supervisors to rewrite the comprehensive plan.
