Family characteristics are often evident as sons and fathers gather for photos, when they speak, or in their actions.
Lonnie and Twyla Schultz expected some traits of theirs to pass to their four children, but they didn’t expect to see their three sons wearing the same work uniform as their father.

10 local EMT’s earn Code Save award
Ten members of West Point Rescue received Code Save Awards at their monthly meeting last Wednesday.
The award is presented to EMS providers who saved a life during CPR and/or defibrillation. It is presented by the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services, EMS Program.

Arlington shuts down Seniors
West Point’s lack of offense left the American Legion Senior baseball team on the short end of a shutout setback to Arlington, losing 2-0 Monday evening at Anderson Field.

Roger Denton - April 25, 2012
On April 5, 2012, at the age of 67 years, 169 days, Roger James Denton, received last rites, then, peacefully passed away in a Billings, Montana hospital. The cause of death was heart failure.Survivors include his mother, Fern Denton of Fremont; daughters, Joyce (Greg) Frieden and children, Emily and Nathan; Janice Sutton and children Zachary, Joshua and Megan; and Jody and child, Paige of Omaha; brother, David (Patty) Denton of Oakland; sisters, Carlene (Richard) Summers of Olathe, Kan., and Linda (Terry) Denton-Carter of Omaha; and many dear nieces and nephews.Cards and memorials are directed to his eldest daughters, Joyce Frieden, 911 11th Avenue, Kearney, NE, or ftamusement@rcom-ne.com.
