Roslyn Hugo - September 26, 2012
Mass of Christian burial for Roslyn L. Hugo, age 86, of West Point, will be on Friday, Sept. 28, 2012, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in West Point. Father Gerry Gonderinger will officiate. Interment will be in St. Michael’s Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Thursday from noon to 8 p.m., with the family present from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., at the Minnick Funeral Home in West Point. There will be a guild rosary at 1:30 p.m. and a public wake service at 7 p.m. on Thursday, both at the funeral home.
Roslyn is survived by four sons, Phil (Karen Jantzi) of Lima, Ohio, Gerald “Jerry” (Cindy) and Kenneth, both of West Point, J. George (Dawn) of Ellensburg, Wash.; three daughters, Rita Armendariz of Omaha, Karen (David) Bursley of Marshalltown, Iowa, and Rosemary (John) Roche of Denver, Colo.; 10 grandchildren, Dyani Hugo, Chilali (Chris Scheer) Hugo, Nick (Katie) Hugo, Alexis (Chris) Funk, Todd and Travis Hugo, Brandon (Kristi) Hugo, Briauna (Elvis) Servellon, Aelea Armendariz and Hannah Hugo; and three great-grandchildren, Victor and Julia Funk and Anna Hugo.
Roslyn was preceded in death by Aelred, her husband of 60 years; her parents; one brother, Francis Larson; and three sisters, Eugenia “Jean” Eischen, Viola McGee and Vernal Scobee.
