Harlan W. Frischie, 85, of Scribner, died Monday, Jan. 7, 2013, at his home. A funeral will be Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013, at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Scribner. Rev. Bruce Schut will officiate. Burial will be in the Scribner Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday until 8 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 5-7 p.m. at the Ludvigsen’s Scribner Funeral Chapel. Visitation will continue one hour before the service at the church.
Memorials are suggested to the Scribner Rescue Squad, St. Peter’s Lutheran Church and the Orphan Grain Train in Norfolk.
Ludvigsen’s Scribner Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce; son, Lynn and wife Diane Frischie of Lincoln; son-in-law, Pat Malloy of San Angelo, Texas; three grandsons; three great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Janet Heimann of Lees Summit, Mo.; Carolyn Peters of West Point; many nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
