Cuming County’s Board of Supervisors will likely hold a special meeting sometime in the next two weeks to award the contract for a new bridge over the Elkhorn River south of Beemer and to pave Indian Trails Road.

Five contractors submitted bids that were opened yesterday morning (Tuesday) by the board. Those bids will now be reviewed by the county’s engineer who will make a recommendation to the board in a week or two.
