It’s August, which means it’s not only back-to-school time but also the start of budget setting season.

Usually, Cuming County’s Board of Supervisors is the first local government to hold a budget hearing. However, this year that board won’t hold its budget hearing during its regular August meeting. Instead, the board intends to hold its budget hearing in early September.
