Like it or not, 2020 brings with it another election year. 

On the local scene, it means candidates will be filing for county board, city council and school board in February and March. 

And already someone has thrown his hat into the ring. John Ross, incumbent county supervisor for District 2 filed Jan. 2 to seek re-election. He filed on the Republican ticket.
