West Point’s water and water usage continue to be the topics at West Point City Council meetings, and last Tuesday night’s session was no different.

City Administrator Tom Goulette said the city continues to work with Layne — the company that built the filters — to improve their performance. City staff along with Layne have recharged the filters with chlorine to enhance the removal of iron and manganese in the past couple weeks.
