Cuming County’s Board of Supervisors yesterday gave final approval to the 2020-2021 budget that seeks a property tax increase of $57,091. The board held its required public hearing on the budget Tuesday morning.

The budget shows a tax request of $3,400,553, which is up from last year’s request, of $3,343,462. The county’s tax levy will fall to 12.5 cents per $100 of taxable valuation from 12.7 cents.
