Cuming County is expected to receive $1.7 million in American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds, and the four communities in the county another $942,115, according to estimates released last week.

The funds were a topic of discussion at last Tuesday’s Cuming County Board of Supervisors meeting, at which the board passed a resolution to create a separate fund for the money to help make sure the money is spent for things allowed under the act.
