For drama, comedy, and emotion, upcoming one-acts from local high schools will provide, and do it in about a half hour to boot.

One-acts are theatrical productions that err on the side of brevity, but the length of the performance does not take away from the large-scale, months-long effort that goes into putting a production on.

A public performance will occur in town for “Wait Until the Sun Shines, Nellie”, but the time and date of the show is still yet to be determined.

The public performance of “The Haunted Carousel” will take place on Nov. 18 at the Community Theatre.
