Cuming County ranked #1 in market value of livestock, poultry, and products sold according to the 2017 census. They also ranked #1 in the subcategory of cattle & calves and 6th in hogs & pigs. Needless to say, the producers and feeders are very important to not only the county and the state, but also to the nation and world when it comes to meat production.
The Cuming County Feeders Association and the Cuming County Pork Producers are holding their annual membership drives and wish to remind members that it is time to pay your dues. They also encourage new producers and feeders to join their membership.
The Cuming County Feeders will be holding the Membership Drive at Indian Trails in Beemer on February 20. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. Come enjoy a meal at your leisure between 6:00-8:00 p.m. If possible, please pay your dues ahead of time as to avoid a lineup at the door.
