The attorney for the Rev. Andy Syring on Monday filed a new complaint against the Archdiocese of Omaha and has asked that the previous lawsuit be dismissed.

The new lawsuit still alleges that the Archdiocese “abruptly removed” Father Syring from public ministry in 2018, then published his name on a list of clergy sex offenders despite the Archdiocese knowing that he was not accused of sexual misconduct with a minor.
