Back on his feet

Harry Knobbe (middle) is happy to be moving around once again. After enduring over a year of rehab following a farm accident, Knobbe has been able to walk again using a walker. The odds of ever walking again were stacked against Harry Knobbe. But Knobbe was all about beating the odds. The Franciscan Healthcare staff was all-in as well.

A farming accident in April of 2019 left Knobbe with injuries that made for a bleak outlook of his being able to walk again. But his determination–and that of those surrounding him – turned a bad situation into a positive one.

“Harry has far exceeded the expectations, and that’s not to say he won’t continue to progress. Harry has beaten the odds,” said Terry Nelson, Ancillary Director at Franciscan Healthcare.
