The council accepted a funding option from Aquatic Design Consultants, Inc. that will help keep the proposed new swimming pool project on schedule should voters approve the financing mechanism for the new pool in May.

Voters will decide whether a half-cent increase in the local sales tax should be used to fund a new pool, estimated to cost $6.4 million.
