Congressman visits Livestock Auction

West Point Livestock Auction co-owner Jon Schaben greets First District Congressman Jeff Fortenberry last Thursday when he visited the business.

He couldn’t bring about a $15 bump on the fed cattle market, and he got ribbed about wearing a suit to a sale barn, but Nebraska’s First District Congressman still was treated well last week when he made a stop at West Point Livestock Auction.

Livestock Auction co-owner Jon Schaben was the first to greet Congressman Jeff Fortenberry Thursday morning, telling him, “There can’t be a better place to talk about the cattle industry than here in Cuming County.”
