The Polar Express bedtime story hour has become an annual event at the John A. Stahl Library. The library staff continues to change it up when they can.
This year they added a bit more green into the Christmas decor at the library as the Grinch came to read the book “How the Grinch Stole Christmas.”
As reader Teri Johnson started reading, the children listened intently to the story. Most of them were already in their pajamas for the night and they appeared comfortable as they sat on the floor.
There weren’t any tears as the very green Grinch walked among the children.
When the conductor who had punched their train ticket started to read “Polar Express” they again settled in for the story. Reader Allen Courser had the children help him when he came to the part of the story reading “all aboard” which they shouted.
