Spirit 102.7-FM (Spirit Catholic Radio) is working to warm up winter for the less fortunate by collecting new coats, boots, hats, gloves, mittens and socks for both adults and children.

Items donated to the Warm Up Winter campaign will be distributed in the West Point area to those with the most need.

Items needed include new coats, boots, hats, gloves, mittens and socks for both adults and children.

Those items can be dropped off at Schmitt’s Clothing Store.

“Spirit Catholic Radio’s goal in creating the Warm Up Winter campaign was to help our neighbors,” said Jim Carroll, executive director of Spirit Catholic Radio. “The donated items will be distributed to people across our listening area who have a need for warm, winter items.”

Between now and Dec. 28, donations can be brought to Schmitt’s Clothing Store at 106 S. Main St.
