West Point-Beemer Elementary School students are again helping raise money for the American Heart Association.

Students grades 2-6 are earning money to help fight heart disease and stroke.

This year’s Kids Heart Challenge (formally called Jump & Hoops for Heart) will be held Feb. 4-14. Students will be working on basketball skills, dance and jump rope activities during physical education classes.

Students will also be going out into the community starting on Feb. 4 to raise funds for the American Heart Association’s cardiovascular research and educational programs. They will have official pledge envelopes with them.
