Good food and great fun. Those are the expectations that Colleen Weborg has for the 2023 Cattlemen's Ball June 2-3 south of Pender near the Weborg Feedlot.

This marks the 25th anniversary of the event, and Colleen noted that the Weborg family is honored to serve as the host.

"Cancer has touched not only our immediate family members, but many of our family and friends," Weborg said.

"Our family theme for the ball is "Growing Hope for a Cure." If you have volunteered or donated to our event, thank you for helping fund a cure."

Ninety percent of the proceeds go to the Fred & Pamela Buffett Center strictly for cancer research, and the remaining 10 percent stays in local communities supporting health initiatives.

Highlights of the event include: Cancer Survivor Style Show, Beef Experience Tent, Health Tent and live music by Wade Hayes, The Dylan Bloom Band and the headliner is Josh Turner.
