A search for a superintendent for West Point Public Schools is underway after Bill McAllister submitted his resignation at Monday night’s WPPS Board of Education meeting.

McAllister said he will be retiring from his nearly 40 years in education at the end of this school year. His final contract day is June 30, 2022. In addressing the board, McAllister said it has been a “great honor for me to serve West Point Public School District.”
