West Point Public Schools’ Board of Education is expected to approve a new budget that shows a total tax request of $9,951,671, which is down $19,908 from last year’s request of $9,971,578.

The board held its required budget hearing last night (Tuesday) and will take final action on the budget at its regular monthly meeting set for Monday night, 7:30 p.m. in the district’s alternative energy building.
