West Point Public Schools will be seeking a new activities director/assistant high school principal after action taken at Monday night’s January board of education meeting. The meeting was the first for new board members Herb Hasenkamp and Steve Hughes, who signed their oaths of office Monday.
Superintendent Bill McAllister informed the board that middle school principal Brendan Calahan had submitted his resignation, effective June 30. He has accepted the superintendent’s job at Ponca Public School.
