West Point Public Schools’ Board of Education is eyeing a budget that calls for a $96,288 increase in property taxes.

The WPPS budget hearing will take place Monday, Aug. 31, 7 p.m. at the school media center. The district is looking at a total tax request of $10,047,959, up from last year’s request of $$9,951,671.
