Caroline F. Kampschnieder, 93, of Howells passed away Monday, February 10, 2020, at Parkview Nursing Home in Dodge.
Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, February 14, 2020, at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Howells. Visitation will be held on Thursday February 13 from 4 until 7 p.m. with a Christian Mother’s rosary recited at 4 p.m. and a public rosary at 7 p.m. Visitation will resume February 14 from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m. all held at the church.
Interment will be in the Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery with lunch following in the Howells Catholic Social Hall.
Caroline is survived by her sons: Loren (Deb) of Lincoln, John (Betty) of Omaha, Joe (Mary Jo) of Howells; daughters: Dorothy (Paul) Virgl of Weston, Betty (Steve) Nelson of Lincoln, Theresa (Chuck) Uher of Wilber, Ann (Will) Jansky of Friend, Elaine (Steve) Rodenbaugh of Seward, Marie (Bill) Sander of Papillion; grandchildren: Angela (Adam) Ferguson, Michael Kampschnieder, Brent (Miranda) & Darin Jansky, Eric & Jenna Uher, Jessica (Eric) Ternus, Bryan (fiancé Stephanie) & Kristin Rodenbaugh, Laura Virgl, Lorellee Kampschnieder, Kari Nelson, Mitchell Kampschnieder, Kayleigh & Allison Sander; great-grandchildren: Ezra & Owen Ternus, Quinn Ferguson, Brixton Jansky; sisters: Catherine Franzluebbers, Ann Steffensmeier, Sister Georgiana Franzluebbers OSF, Sister Frances Franzluebbers OSF, Rose Gentrup; sisters-in-law: Lillian Franzluebbers, Margaret Franzluebbers; brothers-in-law: Robert Kampschneider, Hubert Kampschneider; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Clarence in 2004; sister Josephine Kampschnieder; brothers Herman Franzluebbers, Bernard Franzluebbers, and John Franzluebbers.
