Mass of Christian Burial for Dennis Reichlinger, age 88 of West Point, will be held on Friday, October 22, 2021, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in West Point, with Father James Weeder as Celebrant. Burial of the ashes will be in the St. Michael’s Cemetery with Military Honors, and a luncheon will follow at Beed Transportation.

Visitation will be on Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, with a public Vigil Service and Rosary at 7:00. Visitation will continue on Friday one hour prior to the service at the church.

Dennis passed away on Sunday, October 17, 2021, at St. Joseph’s Hillside Villa in West Point.

Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Lillian of West Point;

Son, Thomas Reichlinger of West Point, and family: Jacob Reichlinger, Lucas Reichlinger and daughter Olivia, and Kayla Reichlinger;

Daughter, Jean Chase and Michael Miller of Omaha, and her family: Jack and Teela Chase and children, Dexter and Nova; and Raymond Chase;

Son-in-law, David Knobbe of West Point, and family: Henry and Betsy Knobbe and children, Elyse and Cameron; Benjamin and Ashley Knobbe and children, Nolan and Kinsley.

Also surviving are sisters, Theresa Stecher of West Point, and Joanne Johnson of Moses Lake, Wash.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbur and Gertrude Reichlinger; daughter, Sandra Knobbe; sisters, Evelyn Stratmann, Mary Schmaderer, Gertrude Kleffner, and a brother in infancy.
