Halle Jennifer Kreikemeier was born in Fremont, Nebraska, on August 16, 2004. She grew up on her family farm just North of Snyder, Nebraska, and attended school at Guardian Angels Central Catholic in West Point, Nebraska. Halle was very much looking forward to her future education at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, with the intent of majoring in agribusiness and minoring in agricultural communications.
In her short 18 years of earthly life, she impacted all around her with her generous spirit and outgoing, happy personality. To know Halle was to know joy. Halle’s smile could light up the darkest of places, and was partnered with the most contagious laugh.
Halle and her family have many summer memories of camping and boating together. If she wasn’t on a boat on the lake, you could probably find her attending a country concert.
Halle loved her Lord, her family, her friends, country music, her Wrangler jeans, and her cowboy boots. She truly enjoyed life, never took anything for granted, and saw the bigger picture. Halle was involved in her school and parish, and was respected by many. She was loved and loved well.
She is survived by her parents, Keith and Jennifer Kreikemeier; siblings, Ethan and Simon Kreikemeier; grandparents, Dale and Marla Schmader; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Halle is preceded in death by her grandparents, Marvin and Joyce Kreikemeier; aunt, Mary Kay Kreikemeier; and infant siblings, Hannah and Layne Kreikemeier.
Keith, Jen, Ethan, Simon and the extended family of Halle Kreikemeier wish to extend a sincere thank you to everyone who has reached out with prayers and support during this time. Your kindness has not gone unnoticed, and we are very appreciative.
