Funeral services for James M. Troyer, 94, of West Point were held on Saturday, Sept. 7, at the Beemer Mennonite Church with Pastor Lewis Miller officiating. Interment was in the Beemer Cemetery.

Jim passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2019 at St. Joseph’s Hillside Villa in West Point.

Survivors include- his wife of 69 years, Norma of West Point, children and their families: Patricia and Darrell Zook of Philadelphia, MO and family: Aaron and Megan Zook and children-Caleb, Natalie and Nora; Sara and Paul Swisher and children-Colton and Emmit; Mark and Trisha Zook and children-Owen and Ava; Micah Zook; Becky and David Mannigel of Palmyra, MO and family: Jamie and Darcy Mannigel and children-Cooper and Abby; Amy and Michael Fennewald and children-Emily, Katie and Lucas; Rick and Vickie Troyer of Wisner and family: Nick and Amy Troyer and children-Cody (deceased), Ashton, Conner and Lexi; Lindi Hathaway and children-Isaac, Eric, Alex and Owen; Travis and Sonya Arduser and children-Gwen, Ramsey and Grady; Megan and Jordan Feller and son-Barrett; Alicia Troyer and daughter-Ella; Lucas Troyer; Lorraine Troyer and Loren Rasbury of St. Louis, MO and family: Becca (deceased) and her children-Jervon Quinn and Peyton Grant; Don and Kelly Troyer of Lexington and family- Tyler Jacobs and Austin Jacobs. Jim is also survived by siblings and siblings-in-law; Mary and Bill Armfield of Hesston, KS, Betty Springer of Milford, Eunice Stutzman of Milford, Violet and Merrill Stutzman of Milford, Leonard Troyer of Beemer, Bernetta Erb of Geneva, Sam Oswald, Jr. of West Point, Ruth Erb of Shickley, Arlyce and Myron Friesen of Henderson, along with many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents-A.L. and Emma Troyer, parents-in-law-Mose and Ida Erb, granddaughter-Becca Joy Campbell, great grandson-Cody James Troyer, siblings and siblings-in-law-Dorothy and Lee Schlegel, Loretta Troyer, Glenn and Aldene Troyer, Lester and Gladys Troyer, Robert Erb, Dale Miller, Larry Springer, Leroy Stutzman, Ivan and Wilma Troyer, Harold and Clarice Troyer, Roy and Mattie Troyer, Merlin Erb, Dorothy Oswald, Alvin Erb and Virgil Erb.

Minnick Funeral Home in West Point handled the arrangements for the family.
