A memorial service for Jim Kindschuh, 81, of West Point, will be held Friday, October 18, 2019, at Grace Lutheran Church in West Point, with Rev. Priscilla Hukki as officiant. Burial with military honors will be at Mount Hope Cemetery, West Point, with lunch following at the church hall. Visitation will be Thursday, Oct. 17, from noon until 6 p.m. with family receiving friends from 4-6 p.m. at Stokely Funeral Home in West Point.
Jim died October 4, 2019, at St. Joseph’s Hillside Villa in West Point.
Those meeting him in heaven are his wife, Mary Lou; his parents and his parents-in-law, Richard and Irma Priebnow; and sisters-in-law, Janice Kindschuh and Linda Priebnow.
Missing him on earth are daughter, Deb (Ray) Collins; son, Scott Kindschuh; son, Jeff (Chris) Kindschuh; grandchildren, Chelsea (Scott) Anson, Whitney (Doug) Chvatal, Taylor and Tanner Collins, Sarah, Molly and Emma Kindschuh; great-grandchildren, Levi and Hazel Chvatal and Taylor, Asher, and Blakely Anson; brothers, Butch Kindschuh, Jack (Jeanette) Kindschuh, and Mike (Cheryl) Kindschuh; and brothers-in-law, Sonny Priebnow and Alan (Joan) Priebnow.
