Mass of Christian burial for Joan Hagedorn, age 85 of West Point, were held Monday, February 3, 2020, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Father Steve Emanuel as celebrant. Interment was at St. Michael’s Cemetery

Joan passed away on Friday, January 31, 2020, at St. Joseph’s Hillside Villa in West Point.

Survivors include her children and their families:

Jan and Michael Auten of Lincoln, and family: Douglas and Michella Auten and children: Broklyn, Emily, Riley & Jaelyn; and Matt Auten;

Dorothy Knight of Norfolk;

Mark and Loretta Hagedorn of West Point, and family: Bobbi and Derek Kreikemeier and children: Grant & Reece;

Sara and Jeff Bradfield and children: Kinley, Katelyn, Kennedy & Jace;

Eric Hagedorn and fiancée Katie Funk; and Jordan and Cotey Hanson and daughter: Harper;

Diane and John Rasmussen of West Point;

Jerry Hagedorn of Wayne, and family: Jessica and Jeff Schuemann and son: Wyatt; Jared Hagedorn; and Jonny Hagedorn;

Dan and Lana Hagedorn of West Point, and family: Joshua Hagedorn; Stephanie Hagedorn; Melissa Hagedorn; and Luke Hagedorn;

Donna and Kevin Kort of Blue Hill and family: Jeremy Kort; Hailey Kort; and Madison Kort;

She is also survived by a sister, Roberta Hagedorn of West Point; brother Leo and Joey Diekemper of West Point; and sisters-in- law Pat Diekemper of Wichita, and Marjorie Hagedorn of West Point.

Joan was preceded in death by her parents; husband Edmund on Jan. 30, 2019; son David in March of 1978; brother Joe B. Diekemper and three brothers in infancy: Alfred and a set of twins, and son-in-law, Russ Knight.
