William “Bill” Schulte, 100, of Dodge, died Monday, September 2, 2019, at Midlands Living Center in Council Bluffs. Funeral Mass was held Thursday, September 5, 2019, at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Dodge with Rev. Rod Kneifl as celebrant. Burial with military honors was at St. Wenceslaus Cemetery.

Bill is survived by his wife, Evelyn; children, Thomas of Omaha, Jim (Mary Jo) of Omaha, Gerald (Mary) of Omaha, and Mary (Terry) Totten of Logan, Iowa; daughter-in-law, Brenda (John) Bray of Doylestown, Pa.; grandchildren, Jennifer Meyer, Michael Schulte, Matthew Schulte, Marissa Schulte, Natale Bray, Nicole Bray, Nicholas Totten, Stacy Totten, and Mindy Totten; 12 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Marilyn Vogel of Norfolk; and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Donald in 1985; brothers, Leonard and John Schulte; sisters, Marie Murphy, Mable Remm-Bowerman, Clara Hanggie, Leona Eveler-Forck, Frances Kampschneider-Stangel, Eva Kaup; nine brothers-in-law; and one sister-in-law.
