Worth more than just consideration: The Legislature would provide additional funding for career-readiness and dual-credit education initiatives under a proposal heard last week by the Education Committee.

No one testified in opposition to the bill and the committee took no immediate action on it. I’m hoping the senators take a hard look at the bill and it gains support. It could, I think, provide some funding for the Pathways 2 Tomorrow program that involves eight area schools this year.
