With so much negativity in our world, let me share a story that I consider pretty uplifting and positive. It involves kindergartners, which as I’ve said before, are the people in this world that we should try to model our behavior after.

Instead of looking up to actors, politicians, or athletes, we should really simplify things and aspire to be more like kindergartners.

This winter, I started a free weekly basketball FUNdamentals night for my son Maverick and some of his classmates. During these sessions we would ONLY work on learning the game of basketball. Drills, skill work, and generally building a foundation of HOW to play the game, instead of worrying about actually playing games. To put it lightly, it’s been an absolute blast.
