West Point’s City Council is starting to consider the not-so-encouraging task of deciding how to pay for the upgrades to the city’s water treatment plant and distribution system.

As noted at last night’s (Tuesday) city council meeting, the price tag could surpass $2.5 million for the new filters, some new water mains and other work the city has in store for the water treatment plant.
