Bancroft-Rosalie/Lyons-Decatur’s quest to compete for a third consecutive state championship was denied Thursday evening at Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln.
And it was Yutan senior Brady Timm who closed that door on the Wolverines.
After milking the clock for nearly 90 seconds, Timm drained a tightly contested 15-foot jumper for the game-winning bucket with 2.2 seconds left to play in Yutan’s 49-47 win over BRLD in the Class C2 Boys State Basketball semifinals.
