Class C runners-up

Ask any fan, coach or player, there’s no denying that Guardian Angels Central Catholic left everything they had on the field in the Class C state softball championship game Friday at Hastings.

The Bluejays competed with the heart of a champion, and played with a tremendous amount of energy every single play. The will to win was there. Unfortunately, only one team could come out on top. And after a second championship game, it was Fairbury who captured the Class C championship title with a 6-5 win over Guardian Angels Central Catholic.
