Cadet Olivia Gross comes close, but not quite over, in the girls' high jump event during last week's North Bend Central Invite.

With a busy upcoming schedule, West Point-Beemer kept several athletes from competing in their full amount of events at the North Bend Central track invite last week Tuesday (April 26).

Despite being limited in some events, West Point-Beemer still managed to produce several medal-winning performances.

Of those medals, one was gold. That came thanks to Cadet thrower Meg Anderson who captured the girls’ shot put title thanks to a winning toss of 36-3.5.
