Any time Humphrey/LHF made a run, Guardian Angels Central Catholic always had an answer. And that answer oftentimes came on defense.

The Bluejay ‘D’ limited Humphrey/LHF to just 14 points in the second half to secure a 65-39 win in the opening round of the North Bend Central girls holiday basketball tournament last week Tuesday.

“All year, our defense has been coming through for us. I was happy with the way we played and held down their scorers,” GACC head coach Jerry Stracke said.
