There were some sloppy moments for both teams in the first half, but that didn’t prevent them from competing hard in the second half. But when it mattered most, the LVSS football team buckled down and picked up a 20-18 win over BRLD Friday night in Lyons.

“Our kids really geared up and decided that this was our game to win,” LVSS head coach Matt Carlson said. “BRLD is a physical team, and it was a physical game. I’m proud of the kids for finding a way to get it done.”
