Neligh-Oakdale senior Aiden Kuester delivered an explosive performance, and by doing so, sparked the Warriors to a 58-14 win over Guardian Angels Central Catholic in Friday night football action last week.

Kuester did it all for the state-ranked Warriors. The Neligh-Oakdale quarterback accounted for six of the team’s eight touchdowns. He passed for three TD’s, rushed for two scores, then found the end zone on a punt return.

Kuester accounted for 365 of the team’s 491 total yards.

“They’re a good team with a very good and athletic quarterback, but we made him look really good,” GACC head coach Dave Ridder said.

Neligh-Oakdale’s solid performance had an super quick start. The Warriors scored seven first-half touchdowns for a 52-6 halftime lead in a game that was never close.

“They did everything we thought they would do. But quite frankly, we just didn’t play very well,” Ridder said.
