BRLD wins

BRLD’s Darwin Snyder dives to the floor for a loose ball battle with a Howells-Dodge player in last week’s home game at Lyons. After a hot start, the Wolverines held on for a 73-63 win over Howells-Dodge. With the win, BRLD stays undefeated. The Wolverines will return to action later this week in the Homer Holiday Tournament.

The first half was smooth sailing for the Bancroft-Rosalie/Lyons-Decatur. The second half was anything but smooth for the Wolverines. Even though things got a bit rocky for the Wolverines, BRLD buckled down when it mattered most as they pulled out a 73-63 win over Howells-Dodge Friday in Lyons.

“I thought our boys came out of the gate doing what they needed to do the first half. But we got too relaxed in the second half,” BRLD head coach Cory Meyer said. “Howells-Dodge is a team that does not give up.”
