The last time West Point-Beemer senior Andrea Hoffman played in Wayne, she left town with a hurt wrist.
Roughly a month later, Hoffman returned to Wayne and left there as the school’s new record-holder for most three-point buckets in a game.
Hoffman was dialed in from long range as she buried seven three-pointers, going 7-of-11, in West Point-Beemer’s 58-30 win over Wayne last Thursday.
She finished with a game-high 25 points.
“It was a great team win, but it was a really special night for Andrea,” Cadet head coach Taylor Shepard said. “She’s been out for a month, but has worked really hard to get back. So to see her have that kind of night was really special.
“We just become an even better, well-rounded team when we have a shooting threat like Andrea on the court for us.”
