Bancroft-Rosalie went down, but not without a fight.

The Panthers displayed a ton of that fight in the third set of the D1-2 District volleyball finals Saturday at Grand Island CC.

That battle ultimately came up short as 2nd-seeded Cambridge came-from-behind to complete a three-set sweep over #15 Bancroft-Rosalie.

“Leading up to the game, the girls were all dedicated and motivated to win by pushing one another,” B-R head coach Alexis Simonsen said.

“Unfortunately, we didn’t get the win we were hoping for, but each girl put up a fight. It was great to see the girls pull together as a team and finish the game strong.”
