GACC girls grind out win

It wasn’t always pretty, but the effort that the Guardian Angels Central Catholic girls basketball team put forth in a 60-52 home win over Battle Creek last week Tuesday was a thing of beauty.

“I thought we played with a lot of heart and desire. The girls knew they needed to win this game, and I thought they gave a great effort,” Bluejay head coach Jerry Stracke said.
