Strong to the hoop

At one point, BRLD boys basketball trailed by seven points in the first half. But a switch in defense sparked the Wolverines to a 68-43 road win over Pender last week Tuesday.

“Pender was hitting some threes, so we felt switching to a man [defense] gave us a better chance to cover those shots,” BRLD head coach Cory Meyer said. “We matched up well with them man-for-man.”
