Henry Wadsworth Longfellow said “For bells are the voice of church; they have tones that touch and search the hearts of young and old.”

It has been 68 years since the bells have tolled at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Wisner, but they started ringing once again on March 20 when the church’s newly installed digital carillon was activated.
