The list of candidates for public offices in Cuming County continues to grow with deadlines fast approaching.

Incumbents have until Thursday, Feb. 15 to submit their names for re-election. Non-incumbents have until Thursday, March 1.

At the county level, many of the offices have at least one person, except for the Supervisor-District Five seat currently held by Glen Wiechman.

Supervisors Steven Meister in District One and Judith Mutzenberger in District Three are seeking re-election. Les Ott, the District Seven Supervisor, has yet to refile, however, Jan Schuetze has filed for the same office.

Incumbents Cherie Kreikemeier (Assessor), Daniel Bracht (Attorney), Bonnie Vogltance (Clerk), Laure Wagner (Clerk of District Court), Bradley Boyum (Sheriff), and Nick Seery (Surveyor) have all filed once again for office. County Treasurer Judy Bracht has not filed, but Roxann Fast, who is employed in the Treasurer’s office, has filed.
