The Burt and Cuming County Economic Development offices will be hosting a joint bi-county job fair on Thursday, Oct. 12 at the Nielsen Center in West Point from 12 noon to 3 p.m.

The event is free to the public and is open to all industries, ages, and skill levels.

According to the Nebraska Department of Labor, between Burt and Cuming Counties, there are over 100 jobs currently available. It is expected that around 50 percent of those jobs will be represented on Oct. 12.

Companies set to compete in the job fair include: Alpha Land Surveying, Brehmer Manufacturing, Central Valley Ag, CharterWest Bank, Feeney Manufacturing, Franciscan Care Services, Oakland Mercy Medical Clinic, Perennial Landscape, Plan B Consultants, Premier Estates, Rhea Brothers, Rief Design/Triple C Products, Ritter Feedyards, Subway-West Point, West Point Galvanizing, West Point Chevrolet, West Point Dairy.
