The company Stryker will be demonstrating a Power-LOAD System on Thursday, Nov. 2 at the Wisner Fire Hall.

The cot fastening system helps boost safety by supporting the cot throughout loading and unloading. This eliminates the need to steer the cot into and out of the ambulance.

This system would also minimize patient drops, by supporting the cot until the wheels are on the ground. The device communicates wirelessly.

Thursday’s demonstration is open to the public.
